Following the suspension of Dr ACB Agbazuere as Chief of Staff to Abia governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, a group Abia Youth Forum has appealed to the governor to exercise leniency and recall the Chief of Staff.
This is one of the many bodies that have in recent days urged the governor to forgive Agbazuere of his wrongdoings and recall him to office.
ABN TV reports that the group led by the President, Mr. Obiukwun Chibuzo had besieged the Government House Umuahia on Monday, appealing to the governor to show mercy.
While underlining that to err is human but forgiving is divine, Mr. Chibuzo urged the governor to exercise his fatherly role and recall the embattled Agbazuere.

According to Mr. Orji, the visit is for solidarity with Agbazuere him he described as “our man” as well as opportunity to plead for the governor’s leniency.
The governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu had on December 6, 2020, suspended the Chief of Staff from office.
Though no reason was given for the action, it may not be unconnected with a viral video in which Agbazuere was seen spraying money on a popular clergy, Odumeje at Government House Umuahia.
