All is now set for the people of Abiriba in Ohafia local government area of Abia state to organize its convention tagged Abiriba Reminiscence Convention which seeks to chart a new developmental course, exhibit the cultural heritage of the people as well as unifying them more.
The event being hosted by Abiriba Communal Improvement Union, ACIU a body of Abiriba people concentrated on developmental issues and projects brings together Abiriba indigenes from about 60 countries where its branches are domiciled.

Mr Ibe Joshua Boco, the CEO Boco Investment Concept, founder of Youth Initiative Foundation in a chat with ABN TV said the idea behind this concept is to discuss issues the community faces and projecting a better and modern Abiriba for upcoming generations.
“It is all geared towards unifying the Abiriba people and projecting a better and modern community for our children unborn.
“Basically it is a reunion of brothers, a celebration of culture and arts, it an exhibition of talents and professionalism, it is basically a get-together of brothers to enjoy themselves and recount their steps,” he said.
He likened the event which comes up from 16-18 September 2021 as of August meeting as obtainable in other communities.
Boco said each of the days is filled with packages to ensure that people are entertained and have the right environment to reconcile where there are issues.
He added that visitors will be thrilled with the rich hospitality and culture of Abiriba people at the event.
He guaranteed adequate security and a conducive environment for visitors.
