Ability To Give Not Driven By Riches But Passion To Affect Others  — Obi Cubana

The chairman Cubana Group, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana has said philanthropy is not a product of how rich people are but how much of a good heart they have towards other people in need at your environment.

According to Obi Cubana, one does not necessarily need to be rich to be a giver, ABN TV reports.

Speaking with the management of Igbere TV on Tuesday at his Abuja home who were on a courtesy visit to officially notify the businessman and philanthropist of his emergence as the 2021 Igbere TV Man of the Year through e-voting, Cubana said those who do not give when they don’t have will equally not give when they have.

“Self contentment is the most important thing. Just take what you need, maybe get a better place. If I deserve in this kind of house, somebody else deserves to live in a bungalow, at least to have a roof over his or her head.

“That is just the philosophy. If you can feast one banquet or anything, somebody else deserves to eat three or even two square meal in a day.

“If you can fly your family abroad to go and treat, somebody else deserves to be treated locally, at least let the person have access to a good hospital. That is just it.

“The world is not just created equal, yes we know about that. There is what we call basics, when you know that the world needs you, you respond to it.
