A middle aged man, Chamberlain Kalu from Ebem Ohafia in Ohafia local government area of Abia State has called on youths in the country to harness potentials in them to make a living despite the challenges surrounding their environment.
Chamberlain Kalu who deals on local delicacy, okpa and soft drinks told ABN TV that that has been his means of livelihood in the past 7 years.
The young man who said his target is usually markets, construction sites, hospitals and schools convey his wares, a sought-after among residents of the community with his motorbike.
He tasked the youths, not to necessary wait for anyone to establish them but use their creativity and harness opportunities around them.
This according to him will grow with time and change fortunes for those who do not relent.
Entrepreneurship has been identified as a veritable means of curtailing the growing rate of unemployment in the country.
With very minimal support from authorities, so many youths have delved into the world of self-employment with lots of uncertainty.
While some are fortunate to make success, others are not lucky enough as they are sometimes strangulated with unfair government policies, taxation, infrastructure and poor storage facilities.
With more of Chamberlain Kalu, Nigeria will sure bridge the widening gap of unemployment which has bred insecurity in the country.
