Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, this evening joined family, friends, well-wishers and other guests to celebrate Pastor Ugochukwu Steve Uchegbu on his 50th birthday and 15years wedding anniversary celebration.
ABN TV reports that Pastor Ugochukwu is the Associate Pastor of Living Faith Church, State Headquarters, Ihie Ndume in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State.
The celebrant also used the opportunity to present to the reading public one of his latest books titled: “Rising above Discouragement”.
Speaking at the occasion, the Speaker, Rt Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, congratulated the celebrant for attaining the age of 50.
“50 years is not 50 months.
“My brother, you have done well for yourself. The best thing a man can do for himself is to have a good home.
“God has blessed you; you have a good wife, you have a decent home; for people to willingly come out to celebrate with you means you have made an impact in their lives”, the Speaker said.

The Speaker said the celebrant was among few individuals standing against injustice.
“Somebody that stands against injustice, someone that is fiercely loyal to any cause he believes in.
“Continue to look after the downtrodden with particular reference to the youth through empowerment.
“Anything you can do to reduce poverty is what is needed. With the way things are going, we have reached a stage where if you are a politician and you are not in tune with the youths, it may be difficult for you”, he said.
The Speaker commended the celebrant for continually being in tune with his people.
