The Abia state COVID-19 cases on Tuesday hit 97 after 14 new cases were recorded, ABN TV reports.
The state a few days ago recorded about 67 cases which include the governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.
Abia is the second-highest in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the South East after Ebonyi State.

With the new figure, it is expected that the state will exceed 100 marks in the number of confirmed cases in the coming days.
