Following the protests that rocked the governorship primary election of the ruling PDP in Abia State, one of the aspirants Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, popularly known as Don Lulu has expressed gratitude to his teeming youth and women supporters for believing in him even in the face of challenges.
He applauded their spirit of resilience in efforts to rescue Abia, saying the end of the journey has not come yet.
In a terse press statement issued in Umuahia weekend and made available to journalists through his Lucky Igbokwe Ekweremekwe Campaign Organization, the businessman and philanthropist urged his supporters to patiently wait as he announces a new political alignment in coming days.
Recall that the PDP governorship primary election in Abia which produced former Vice Chancellor, Prof. Uche Ikonne had witness protest, leading to the exit of Sen. Enyinnaya Abaribe and other contestants from the party.
