Abia PDP Chieftain, Mayor Igbokwe, Appeals To Ohuhu People To Unite For Prof Uche Ikonne’s Gov’ship

Former governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Abia State and United Nation Mayor of Peace, H.E Mayor Lucky Igbokwe popularly known as Don Lulu, has appealed to his Ohuhu Umuahia people to unite across party lines and support the governorship candidate who will best serve their interest.

The renowned business man and philanthropist also said that the Ndi Ohuhu are sophisticated people who should not be involved in blind politics, but should rather weigh all the options available to them politically in order to make the right decisions in the choice of the Abia governorship come 2023.
Mayor Lucky Igbokwe who finished second place in the PDP governorship primaries behind Prof Uche Ikonne, spoke when the members of Ohuhu Solidarity Forum, OSF, led by Hon Okey Ufomadu paid him a solidarity visit at his Umuawa Alaocha country home.

While welcoming the group, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe thanked them for coming to identify with him, and promised never to take their support for granted. He regretted that Ohuhu is lagging behind politically, adding that in him Ohuhu has found a true and dependable son, whose first agenda is to reposition Ohuhu and make it take its pride of place in the scheme of things.

He called on the Ohuhu Solidarity Forum members to see him as the face of the new generation leadership of Ohuhu, saying that without them he can’t make further impact as he declared his readiness to carry everyone along in his political activities.

Earlier, the President of OSF, Hon Okey Ufomadu, told their host Mayor Igbokwe that the members have come to welcome and congratulate him because he has made Ohuhu proud. The OSF President told Mayor Igbokwe that the group is solidly behind him and ready to work with him to further advance the interest of Ohuhu.

Hon Kingsley Megwara who joined the chief host to receive the OSF, applauded the group for deeming it necessary to embark on the solidarity visit, adding that the future of Ohuhu’s political survival rests in the hands Mayor Igbokwe aka Don Lulu.

The 41-year-old Entertainment Investor who was appointed the Ambassador of Youths for the Prof Uche Ikonne Campaign Organisation, has been described by pundits as putting a square peg in a square hole.
