Abia: Ohafia Youths Stage Peaceful Protest, Give Criminal Elements Quit Notice (Photos, Video)

Youths of Ohafia community in Abia state on Wednesday staged a peaceful protest, warning all criminal elements causing insecurity in the community to immediately vacate, warning that they will no more watch as their indigenes live in fear of uncertainty.

They accused some strangers who have resided in the community for a long time of acquiring diabolical powers to cause disturbances, with the support of few indigenes to indulge in cultism, robbery and killings.

The youth president Obasi Kalu Obasi said all those involved will not be spared as they will be handed over to security agencies for necessary actions.

He expressed the commitment of the youths in the community to protect their indigenes, the sanctity of their land, their assets, insisting that they will make the land unconducive for anyone with nefarious intention.

He said they will work on synergy with the security agencies to restore peace and calm in Ohafia.
