In continuation of his ongoing tour around his Abia North constituency to give account of his representation in the past three years in the Senate, the Senator representing the Constituency, Orji Uzor Kalu on Tuesday arrived Apuanu Item and Okoko Item both in Bende local government area.
Upon his arrival along with his entourage in Apuanu Item, the Senate Chief Whip was received by the Traditional council of Apuanu Item.
He was later hosted by the Traditional leader of the community HRH Eze Silas O. Igwe J.P, the Okpi of Item alongside his council members.

At a meeting which took place at the community square, the youths, women, and elderly were excited to receive their Senator and they praised him for the developmental projects he has embarked upon, particularly road projects which they said will alleviate their sufferings.
Similarly, in Okoko Item, the constituents were full of excitement to receive Sen. Kalu, a former governor of Abia as they chanted solidarity songs.
During the course of interaction, a youth leader Comrade Ijomah Moses listed the projects executed by Kalu in their community, while appreciating the Senate Chief Whip, Moses also appealed to Kalu to pay attention to the repair of community road leading to Ugwueke.
The people of Okoko Item also endorsed Sen. Kalu as their next Senator come 2023, assuring that they will massively vote for him in the upcoming election to the National Assembly.
