Alozie appreciated the host of all the local governments visited, stating that they all connected to the vision and embraced the need to pray for the state.
At the prayer which has as the theme, “Oh Thou That Answers Prayers” the clergy applauded the responses of the local governments, saying they have been receptive.
“Wherever we have gone one remarkable thing is that we have seen the willingness of Abians to pray. From the Opinion polls, we have gathered, a lot of people believe that Abia’s problem is not political but rather spiritual,” he said.
The clergy assured Abians that the prayer is for the good of the state adding that a new Abia is emerging through prayers and voters’ education and enlightenment, making the people understand that the free gifts politicians give during the election period should not make them sell their votes to the wrong persons.
