An aspirant in the upcoming local government election in Abia State, Chief Ikenna Ariwodo has said he is the best candidate to preside over Bende local government area of the state.
In a chat with ABN TV on Wednesday, Ariwodo said with his network of connection within and outside Nigeria, he would bring positive change to the local government.
He stated that agriculture, health care, and education will be top in his priority if he emerges winner in the election.
“Security is another sector I’m going to look into. Despite that the member representing Bende Federal Constituency, Hon. Benjamin Kalu and the Senator representing Abia North, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu are working hard at the federal level towards that, I will support them from the grassroots perspective to guarantee the security of our people” Ariwodo said.
The APC candidate insisted that despite the state being a PDP state, he will emerge victorious, adding that Bende is predominantly APC.
He said Bende produced a federal lawmaker, Hon. Benjamin Kalu in the last election as well as a member in the state House of Assembly in the person of Hon. Chijioke Chukwu all on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).
