Abia Lawmakers Attend Legislative Seminar In United Kingdom (Photos)

Members of the Abia State House of Assembly are currently in the United Kingdom for a specialized seminar aimed at strengthening their legislative capacity and improving productivity in governance, ABN TV reports.

The seminar, titled “Understanding and Influencing the Legislative Process: An Introduction to Legislative Campaign Based on the UK Parliamentary Model,” focuses on equipping the lawmakers with deeper insights into the workings of the UK parliamentary system and how it can be adapted to improve governance and representation in Abia State.

According to ABN TV findings, the programme is designed to strengthen the legislators’ skills in policymaking, oversight, and advocacy, fostering a more efficient and responsive legislative process.
