Abia Holds Environmental Sanitation Saturday, Vehicular Movement Restricted (See Time)

The monthly environmental sanitation in Abia state will hold on Saturday, July 29th 2023 simultaneously across the state.

The exercise holds within the hours of 7am – 10am, Mr Ogbonnia Okereke, the GM/CEO Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA).

This is a shift from the 9am—11am environmental sanitation timing obtainable in the previous administration.

The ASEPA boss also announced that vehicular movement will be restricted within the period of this exercise, except for those on essential duties.

“Residents are urged to participate fully in the exercise; clean their surroundings, desilt water channels and properly bag their wastes for collection and proper disposal.

“Let us join hands with the Government to achieve a clean and habitable Abia”, the statement added.
