Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has announced that 222 primary and secondary schools across the state are currently undergoing renovation as part of his administration’s commitment to improving education infrastructure.
Governor Otti made this known on Friday during his monthly media chat (March Edition) with journalists at Government House, Umuahia, tagged “Governor Alex Otti Speaks to Abians.”
According to the Governor, the renovation effort prioritizes the most critical schools, with plans to extend the initiative until all communities benefit from upgraded learning environments.
“We have started with the most critical ones and will continue until we achieve clear outcomes in terms of school infrastructure in all the communities,” he assured.
The move aligns with the administration’s broader goal of enhancing access to quality education and creating conducive learning environments for students across Abia State.
