The Abia State Government and the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) have reached a consensus on the payment of a monthly wage award of N15,000 for a period of three months, effective from the end of July 2024, ABN TV reports.
According to the agreement, the state government will pay the N15,000 wage award to eligible workers for three consecutive months, starting from July 31, 2024.
This decision comes after negotiations between the government and the NLC, representing the state’s workforce.
