CP Onwuemeile who arrived in the company of top officials of the command expressed sadness over the development.

The visibly angered police boss tendered apologies to the media organization, its management, and staff for the disruption of their routine activities geared toward the development of society.

He said the action of the four police officers does not represent the true image of the command, even as he urged every police officer in the state to work towards enhancing cordial relationships with the civil populace.

The Commissioner of Police also promised to fix the damaged studio equipment.

Meanwhile, Mr. Bernard has since been released along with his friend Michael Idika who was initially locked up with him.
