Abia CP Urges Newly Recruited Constables To Shun Corruption, Work For Restoration Of Community Safety

The Commissioner of Police in Abia State, CP Mustapha Mohammed Bala has tasked the newly passed out constables to be prayerful and remain, shun corruption and work towards the restoration of community safety.

He also urged them to be good ambassadors of their families, states and the police in general as they carry out their functions

The police boss who gave the charge while addressing the 166 newly passed out police constables posted to Abia State command hinted that they will be posted to their local governments of origin in line with the Community Policing Policy of the Federal Government of Nigeria and Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, Abia State Police spokesman, SP Geoffrey Ogbonna said in a statement.

He stated, “While addressing the newly passed out Police Constables, CP Mustapha Mohammed Bala, psc congratulates the newly passed out Police Constables for their successful training, charged them to be good ambassadors of their families, State and the Nigeria Police Force in discharging their duties; also to be God fearing, straight forward and see their service to humanity as service to God.

“He further enjoined them to adopt ‘glass and nice theories in their policing approach to foster Community Safety Partnership.

“The CP also urged them to be prayerful as prayer is the key to success while reminding them, that Discipline is the bedrock of the Force.

“He wishes them a successful career in good health as they will be posted to serve their various communities.”
