CP Onwuemelie said late CSP Kelechi’s service was characterized by exemplary calmness, honesty, and diligence.

According to him, “His astute mind reflected in the quality of work he did, which contributed significantly to the effectiveness of the Abia State Police Command. Tragically, on the 18th of November 2023, fate claimed him from our ranks. The cold hands of death snatched him away in an untimely departure. We have not only lost a seasoned officer, but also a mentor and a true friend to many within the police family.

“Our dear friend and esteemed colleague, as we lay your body to rest, we promise to carry forward the torch of dedication and service to humanity that you so valiantly bore throughout your distinguished career. We pray that your soul finds eternal peace, even as your memory inspires us to uphold the noble principles you exemplified in the pursuit of Justice, and selfless service. Dear Polycarp, we pray that the good Lord grants your family and the rest of your loved ones, the grace to go through the tough times occasioned by your untimely demise. May your soul rest in perfect peace, Amen.”
