The task force team inaugurated by Abia state governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu to enforce the stay-at-home order in the state in order to contain the spread of coronavirus has invaded the popular Orji Uzor market by Tonimas Junction Aba and destroyed traders’ wares.
This is coming after the Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Rt. Hon. Cosmos Ndukwe Ph.D had issued a warning to the traders to ensure their shops are under lock and key.
The affected items are mainly food items.
This however did not go down well with the traders as they reportedly engaged the enforcers in a violent confrontation.
ABN TV on Sunday brought you a report that the state governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu had issued a warning to all the 17 local government TC chairman against allowing vehicles into the state through their domains.
