Abia Church Suspends Wedding After Investigation Shows Would-be Bride Was Pregnant

Assemblies of God Church situated at 15B Ikot Ekpene road Aba in Abia State has announced the decision of the Church board to suspend a planned wedding between Mr Isreal Kennedy and Miss Rose, AbnTv Learnt.

This came after the board discovered that the bride-to-be was already Pregnant.

The wedding was scheduled to hold Sunday 26th November 2023.

Assemblies Of God Church, a foremost Pentecostal mission frowns at brides to be getting pregnant before their Church Wedding Day.

According to PUO, a family member confirmed this development after conducting pregnancy test on the bride to be.

It was reported that the church “found out that she was pregnant and announced that the wedding is hereby cancelled”

It was further gathered that both the Bride to be and the Groom to be was Subsequently Suspended in accordance with the Constitution and Byelaws of the Church.
