Businessman and PDP chieftain in Abia, H.E Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu) has pledged to rally support for Col. Austin Akobundu (Rtd) who’s vying to represent Abia Central in the Senate under the umbrella of the People Democratic Party, PDP.
The Abia Youth Ambassador for the Uche Ndi Abia Campaign Organization, gave the assurance when Col. Akobundu paid a courtesy visit to him in his country home at Umuawa Alaocha, Umuahia, Abia State.
The PDP Senatorial candidate and immediate past national organizing secretary of the party, said he has great respect for Igbokwe as one of the stakeholders in Ikwuano/Umuahia and Abia and chose him as the first leader to consult in Ohuhu clan.
He applauded Igbokwe’s courage during the Abia guber primaries. He said “it’s not easy to run for governor but you ran to the end and even emerged as first runner up”
He assured that his time will come for him to put to use the leadership potentials inherent in him
