One of Nigeria’s finest reggae stars, Andy Shurman has lost his wife.
Mrs Theresa khalilah Shurman, passed on on Monday, September 19, 2022, Shurman announced in a post on Facebook.
“With heavy heart and tears in my eyes, I write to notify the general public for the loss of my preciouse jewel, my wife Mrs Theresa khalilah Shurman, a woman with a heart of gold who just passed on to be with the Lord on Monday19th September 2022.
“My Angel we are going to miss you, I am short of words, but is my prayer that GOD, Almighty will accept your soul in paradise, rest in perfect peace amen Adiue,” he wrote.
The Kinky Reggaeman’ Andy Shurman hails from Ndiolumbe Nvosi, Isialangwa South LGA of Abia State.
Andy Shurman is one of Nigeria’s finest reggae stars who dominated the airwaves in the 80s with his debut album, “ Save the Masses” released in 1989 and contained such tracks as “ Kinky Reggaeman”, “Tabefaction”, “Oladi”, Judgment Day”, “Let them Rise”, “My Creator,” “No Train” and Fight Them Back.”
He left the shores of this country when the ovation was loudest, and sojourned in the United States, Canada and Germany for close to a decade.
