Abia Assembly Minority Leader Greets Sen. Kalu, Chief Emenike On Emergence As APC Flagbearers

Minority Leader of Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Chijioke Chukwu has congratulated High Chief Ikechi Emenike on his emergence as the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress APC in the state ahead of the 2023 general elections, saying it is a step in the right direction towards defeating PDP.

In a chat with ABN TV on Monday, Hon. Chukwu representing Bende North in the State House of Assembly equally applauded the APC chairman in Abia, Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu for the sterling way he has been piloting the affairs of the since his election.

According to Chukwu, the success of the governorship primary of the party is attributable to the outstanding leadership Dr. Ononogbu has brought to bear since he emergence.

The lawmaker also congratulated the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor for securing a return ticket to the Senate in 2023.

He also felicitated with the Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives and member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha and her Bende counterpart, Hon. Benjamin Kalu and all APC candidates in the state.

Hon. Chukwu called on all members of APC in Abia State especially aggrieved members to sheath their swords and work towards the victory of the party in all elective positions in the state come 2023.

He insists there is a need for unity of purpose in rescuing Abia from the people he said are using the resources of the state to advance personal interest instead of working for the good of Abians.
