Abia APP House Of Assembly Aspirants, Barr Emeka Says He Has Come To Restore Ohafia Dignity

An Abia State House of Assembly aspirant, Hon Emeka I.U Kalu PhD has said he is in the race to represent the good people of Ohafia South state constituency to restore the dignity of the people.

Emeka I.U Kalu who is a former chairman of Ohafia local government stated this shortly after returning his duly completed Action People’s Party (APP) nomination and expression of interest forms on Tuesday at the party’s secretariat in u. Umuahia.

He said the House of Assembly is meant for people who can think,people who are educated and can make laws, stating that having been one time local Government chairman he has come to restore the dignity of ohafia people adding that the action people’s party is made up of people with integrity who have a good vision for the state.

I will pilot the affairs of my constituency with the best of my knowledge,The legacies by dignities which are kept aside in ohafia will be restored through me”.He said haven been a local government chairman he won’t resist to always carry the youth along because he specialize in employment law and will push further for it to be implemented by the Governor in which the youths will benefit from as the future leaders.

He said as a lawmaker he will not condole bad governance rather will always have the people at heart to make sure that they are living happily well adding that he has all it takes to restore the dignity of the people and he joined the party because he wants peace of mind as the party is known for peace not violence.

Speaking earlier the party state chairman Chief Sylvernus Nwaji said the aspirant is the kind of person that the party needs to emerge as leader in the house to make a change in the state adding that he is sure the constituency belongs to the party.

Nwaji said the crisis in other parties is as a result of bad governance and that APP is a party from the grassroot which is known for peace.The APP party came up as the alternative the state is looking for to give the people good governance they have been desiring for in the state adding that the party produces good leaders that will bring total change in Abia.

He went ahead to highlight the value of the forms of the party adding that it is affordable so as to allow who has what it takes to develop to the state to have it without stress;for house of assembly 500,000, National Assembly 1.5million while for Senate cost 2million.stating that if a vibrant youth is seen as someone that will bring change in the state and can’t afford for the form will be given free to such person.The party needs people with the fear of God that will take Abia to a greater height.The party wants credibility and action so they won’t accept anyone from other party that will come to bring disunity in the party without being screened properly.
