Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu, the governorship candidate of Action People’s Party (APP) in Abia state on Sunday paid a solidarity visit to Oluomachi Lynda Nwojo, an undergraduate who gave birth to quintuplets, 5 set of babies at Federal Medical center Umuahia Abia State.
Chukwuemeka Adile, the state administrative secretary of APP who represented Mascot Uzor Kalu said the visit to the 24-year-old 400 student of Micheal Okpara University Of Agriculture MOUAU is to felicitate with the mother of the babies.
He added that the APP candidate wants to be part of her success to ensure she does not go through pains anymore.
“We are here to support her,to restore her hope,to tell her she has people,to tell her that her future is still bright”.
” We are here to tell her that Abians and Nigerians are solidly behind her despite the odds she might have passed through”.
He further stated that the visit is not because it’s a political era adding that Mascot is a businessman and as a result of that helps people and has also run free traders loan for the past 10years in the state where he gives traders soft loan to carry out their day to day activities respectively.
He also said everything should not be politics, and this Time is seen as a time to give humanity and the society at large.
Responding to the gifts given to the family Oluomachi Nwojo the mother of the kids expressed her joy towards the APP governorship candidate Mascot Uzor Kalu and thanked him for all that has been given to her adding that God will bless them and also everyone that has helped and contributed in so many ways for her.
Expressing joy of new borns at the Obioma ward Mascot Uzor Kalu also offset the bills of three women who gave birth to twins and couldn’t afford for their bills, Ibeleme Nkechi from Amakanma Umuahia South Abia, Nnamdi Chioma from Ihite Uboma Imo state and Chinwe Sunday from Ossa Ibeku Abia State respectively.
