The Abia State All Progressives Congress, APC, Governorship candidate in the forthcoming general elections, High Chief Ikechi Emenike accompanied by the Deputy Governorship candidate, Rev. Barrister Mrs Glory Felix Akara, Senator Chris Adighije, Sir Marc Wabara and some other party leaders, on Tuesday, paid a courtesy visit on the National Chairman of the party, His Excellency, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and his Executive Committee.
Speaking during the visit, the Abia APC Leaders through the Governorship candidate, High Chief Ikechi Emenike thanked the National Chairman and his Executive Committee for the support given to the Abia State chapter of the party, particularly their interventions in resolving the crisis in the State.
In his remarks, the National Chairman reiterated their total support to the Abia APC, adding that they would do their best in ensuring that the people of Abia State get the good leadership which she deserves.
While stating that it was important for the APC to win in Abia State, Adamu advised his visitors to continue to show magnanimity in victory by reaching out to other party members and Stakeholders who still feel aggrieved with one thing or the other in the party.
Other Leaders who accompanied High Chief Emenike were the Abia South APC Senatorial candidate, Hon. Dr. Blessing Nwagba, Abia Central APC Senatorial candidate, Hon. Emeka Atuma, Retired Generals Nwogbo, Okoro and Ogbonna.
