Abia APC Cautions New Members Against Illegal Registration

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State has welcomed new members to the party, describing their influx as a “welcome development”.

However, the party has also sounded a warning to those with “inordinate ambitions“, emphasizing that membership registration must be done in accordance with the party’s constitution.

According to Hon. Chief Okey Ezeala, State Publicity Secretary of the APC, membership registration can only be done at the ward chapters of the party, as specified in the party’s constitution.

He warned that any registration done contrary to this is “a charade and cannot stand”.

Ezeala advised new members to “look well before they fall into traps of illegality from day one”, emphasizing that the APC is a national party with grassroots structures in all wards.
