Abia @ 30: Ogah Salutes Ikpeazu, Abians, Urges Good Governance

The Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, has congratulated the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu and the good people of Abia state on the 30th anniversary of the creation of the state.

According to Dr. Ogah, though more can be done to develop Abia and make her people happier in view of abundance of resources in Abia, Abia is our own, therefore, all hands must be on deck to further develop it.

Dr Ogah, also, advocated for inclusive leadership and non-partisanship in the governance of Abia so that all resources can be leveraged for the sake of building a prosperous Abia state.

The Honourable Minister, while admonishing the political class to place the collective interests of the people above selfish ambitions, stressed that Abians are hardworking, selfless and patriotic.

Ogah, in his goodwill message, re-affirmed his commitment as a servant of the people and philanthropist in promoting credible leadership in all facets of life and ensuring delivery of more dividends of democracy from the Federal Government for the betterment of Abians, especially, our teeming youths.

He admonished the leadership of the state to do shun politics and embrace governance so that the state can favourably compete among the comity of states in Nigeria, especially in the area of infrastructure, agriculture, education and worker’s welfare.
