Abducted Abia Journalist Regains Freedom (Photos)

The Kidnapped veteran journalist in Abia state, Chuks Onuoha has been released by his abductors.

ABN TV gathered that he has reunited with his family at his residence at Umugasi, Ohuhu, in Umuahia North LGA of Abia State.

Mr Onuoha, a former Abia State Correspondent of The Sun Newspapers, was kidnapped at his Umungasi Ohuhu family home in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State at about 10 p.m Tuesday night, (14/6/2022), according to family sources.

Recall that Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ the umbrella of journalists has mounted pressure on the abductors of the member to release him unconditionally.

The Abia chapter and South East zone of the union have been at the forefront in calling for the release of Chuks Onuoha.
