All is now set for the final burial of 83-year-old Ichie Sir Largus Chukwuemeka Okeakpu in his country home Nnobi, Idemili South LGA of Anambra state.
Born on July 12, 1939, late Sir Okeakpu died on August 10, 2022.
Burial arrangement released on behalf the the family by Dr. J.N Okeakpu says on Wednesday, 11 January 2023, a vigil mass will take place in his honour at late Chief E.E Okeakpu’s compound, Amadunu, Ebenesi Nnobi Idemili South local government area of Anambra state at 4pm.
The burial arrangement further says on Thursday, Jan 12, his body will leave St. Francis Mortuary Awka Etiti for brief stopover at Igwe’s palace, Awuda Nnobi.
At 8am same day, his body will lie in his compound Amadunu Ebenesi Nnobi where a requiem service will be held in his honour by St. Theresa Parish Uhuana Nnobi in Idemili South LGA after which his body will be laid to rest.
On Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023 a thanksgiving service will take place at Our Lady Help of Christians, Amadunu Nnobi.
