A 73-year-old Matthew Okpebholo has donated a block in his office building to Labour Party for the presidential campaign of its candidate, Peter Obi.
The septuagenarian said this is part of his contribution to ensure the emergence of Peter Obi, a former Governor of Anambra State to rescue Nigeria.
He said the donation does not have any political undertone as he has not ventured into politics before and has no intention of becoming a politician at the age of 73.
This is one of the many supports Obi’s presidential bid has garnered in recent times.
Matthew Okpebholo believes that if elected, Peter Obi has capacity to rescue Nigeria from her shackles of insurgency, bandits, terrorism, poverty and low love for her health and educational sectors coupled with unemployment issues.
“I just donated this office block to Labour Party as my contribution. I’m not into politics, I have never been in politics and I can’t venture into politics at 73, but I love what I’m doing and God is involved. Youths said that I have the mindset of a 33-year-old and I agree with them,” Matthew Okpebholo said.
There seem to be strong movements by Nigerians for Peter Obi as a young girl identified as Covenant Onyebuchi In Enugu State also donated money to Peter Obi for his presidential quest and called him a humble man.
