The family of Mr. and Mrs. Amogu Kalu Iroha announces the funeral of their beloved son, Emeka Amogu Kalu (High Chief), who passed away on May 17th, 2024.
The funeral ceremonies will take place tomorrow, June 15th, 2024, as follows:
9:00 AM: Body leaves Mben Mortuary Ebem Ohafia
10:00 AM: Lying in state at his father’s compound
11:00 AM: Seventh Days Adventist Church (ATESS) commendation service
12:00 PM: Interment follows immediately
A candle night service was held in his honor last night, June 14th, at his father’s compound, Asaga Road Ebem Ohafia.
BIOGRAPHY
BIRTH AND EARLY LIFE:
Emeka amogu kalu was born 12th Nov. in the year 1990, into the family of Mr & Mrs Amogu Kalu Iroha Alias (Nna-Ama) of Ndi Ado In Ekelogo Ebem Ohafia. He was the first son.
EDUCATIONAL LIFE:
Emeka Amogu Kalu had his primary education in Erudite primary school, Aba. A secondary education in Ohafia high school and tertiary education in Akanu Ibiam federal polytechnic Ebonyi State. He served his father’s land (NYSC) in the year 2020 in ohafia LGA of abia state.
RELIGIOUS LIFE:
Emeka loves God and was a devoted Christian even till death. He got baptized in Presbyterian church of Nigeria, St Stephen Parish Aba and was confirmed in trinity Presbyterian Church, Ebem Ohafia Parish & had remained a true and certified member of Presbyterian church of Nigeria

SOCIAL LIFE:
High chief as he was fondly called among his peers, was popular in many ways. He lived a simple but exemplary life of giving which was one of his earthly calls from God Almighty. He was frier 1 of many and touched many lives in different ways despite his health condition. He was very accommodating and loved everyone around him.
DEATH:
For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven, a time to be born and a time to die. Emeka had health challenges which lasted for many years even till his death. He had an accident which affected his spinal cord and led him to using wheelchair for support. So many scan and x-ray was carried out on him to see if he could walk again but to no avail, a doctor from Indian was contacted and he said the condition is called muscular dystrophy and the cure and remedy has not been discovered yet.
Lately he developed sickness and was taken to several hospitals from Graceword Aba to Abia State Teaching Hospital which the sickness eventually led to his death.
Chukwuemeka answered the call of nature on 17th may 2024. We strongly believe that his soul and spirit has gone back to God while his body is been laid to rest in the home that he cherished.
May his gentle soul rest in peace. Amen.
