26-Year-Old Nabbed For Allegedly Killing, Burying Father In Anambra

A 26-year-old man, Chisom Ogum is currently cooling off at the Anambra State police station for allegedly killing his biological father.

Information reaching our correspondent confirms that after Chisom succeeded in killing his father with a shovel, he went ahead to bury him in a shallow grave in Orumba south Local government area, Anambra State.

The news was confirmed by the force via the Anambra State Police Command official Facebook page.

According to the report, the incident happened on September 26, 2020, around 6:am when the young man attacked his own father with a shovel and killed him, his father, Mr Christopher Ogum is said to be at the age of 70 years old.

Luck, however, ran out of Chisom after he was intercepted by an angry mob while trying to escape.

The suspect was beaten up and forced to dig out the grave where he buried the father before being handed to the Police Operatives attached to the Umunze group.
