Chief Whip of the Senate, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu is about now meeting with the President, Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, ABN TV reports.
It is not however clear the reason for the meeting.

A source who pleaded anonymity told ABN TV that it may not be unconnected with the furtherance of his consultations ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
ABN TV reports that Sen. Kalu, former Governor of Abia had earlier in an interview made public his interest to contest for the country’s number one job.
The Abia North Senator had also said he will be available to contest for the presidential ticket of his party, the APC grit to grit with other aspirants if the party zones its ticket to Southern Nigeria.
He had boasted his knowledge of the economy which he said he would deploy in running the country if elected.
