2023: I’ve Come To Fix Abia With My Creativity, Business Idea, Says Lucky Igbokwe As He Meets Isuikwuato PDP Stakeholders

An Abia governorship aspirant Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, on Tuesday met with with PDP stakeholders and delegates in Isuikwuato where he told them that he is in the 2023 governorship race to fix Abia with his experience in business and creative ability.

The United Nations Mayor for Peace says he represents hope for all Abians which is the fulcrum of his aspirant for the plum job.

He urged the party stakeholders to elect someone with business ideas and knowledgeable enough on how to generate revenue for the stage which he says he stands for.

He said he believes in action as a youth who has the interest of the youths at heart, just as he equally said he would institute a health insurance scheme for the elderly in the society, to give them access to quality health care services.

The founder of the Don Lulu Foundation stressed that he would like to leave legacies as governor, and explained that he went and saluted the statue of Dr M.I Okpara because he (Okpara) is the symbol of selfless service, as he remains unrivalled till date.

Mayor Igbokwe said it’s his desire to replicate the great achievements of Dr Okpara in Abia State if given the opportunity to serve.

Corroborating the governorship aspirant, Rt Hon Kelechi Onuzurike, the member representing Umuahia state Constituency and Deputy Chief Whip called on the delegates to do the right thing by supporting Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, whom he described as a good man with a good heart. He advised them not to mortgage the future of Abia and that of our children because we all should be concerned about who we elect as our governor.

Dr Charles Emenike, the PDP LGA Chairman in his remarks commended Mayor Igbokwe for making himself available to lead Abia, adding that Don Lulu as he is popularly called is a vibrant young man with a message of hope to Abians. He promised that Isikwuato would not disappoint him, and demanded that Mayor Igbokwe should not forget Isikwuato when he becomes governor.

The former state Treasurer of PDP, Dr Chinenyerem Uwadinjo, said he witnessed Mayor Igbokwe’s declaration at the party’s Secretariat, pointing out that he is the best material so far among all the aspirants who have come, while calling on the delegates not to make mistake.

The Leader of Isikwuato Legislative Council, described Mayor Igbokwe as symbol of hope for the future, saying “this is the type of face we need in politics this time around”.
