2023: Igbo Presidency In The Interest Of Justice, Federal Character — NYO Chairman Insists

The chairman Nigerian Youth Organisation (NYO) Abia state, Barrister Victor Etie, has backed the call by the South East and Abia chapter of the organization for political parties to zone their presidential ticket to the region.

He said this is necessary in the interest of natural justice, federal character, peace, and unity of the country.

In a chat with ABN TV on Thursday, Etie Abia NYO will be at the forefront of the actualisation of the Presidency of Igbo extraction.

He urged all the political parties to zone their Presidential ticket to the south East of the country, adding that it is morally fair and just.

“South-East zone has eminently qualified candidates for the position of the president of Nigeria and it will be in the interest of natural justice, federal character, peace, and unity of this country if the next president emerges from the southeast zone,” he said.

He further enjoined Abia youths to be law-abiding and embrace dialogue, discussions, and engagements of key players in the country as a way forward aftermath of the #EndSARS agitation and other societal ills and marginalization of the youths.
