2023 Election: It Will Be Difficult To Work With Tinubu, Peter Obi – Ned Nwoko

The Delta North senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ned Nwoko, has stated that he will find it difficult to enjoy serving as a senator under the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Bola Tinubu or the Labour Party’s Peter Obi.

According to Nwoko, winning the 2023 election is not a do-or-die situation for him. The politician and business mogul said this today in Asaba during an interactive session with journalists.

Nwoko appeared on ‘The Platform,’ a show hosted by the Delta State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).

In his speech, the senatorial candidate stated that if he is elected to the red chamber, he does not want to be in opposition.

As a result, he urged Nigerians to vote for the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, claiming that being a senator under his party’s candidate will be easier than under an opposition party candidate.

Nwoko emphasized that convincing Peter Obi and Tinubu to do what he wanted for him would be a difficult task.

He stressed:

It’s almost impossible. But if I have Okowa and Atiku, it’s easy. Please, make room for them. I believe they will make things happen. If I am in opposition, it becomes a problem.

Nwoko stated that the PDP agenda would be based on what the people discussed and agreed upon. While noting that the same applies to the governor, Nwoko told the people that they were shooting themselves in the foot if they supported an APC candidate for governor of Delta State.

I cannot work with an APC governor. I know him, he said, soliciting support for all PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections.
