Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Bishop of Arochukwu/Ohafia Abia state of the Anglican Communion, Johnson Onuoha has called on the people of the state to vote wisely according to the guidance of their conscience for the next leaders in the state.
He stated this in Abuja on Friday shortly after a brief meeting with Interpol Systems Consultant and security expert, Sir Chikwe Udensi.
The cleric was in Abuja for a revival programme of the Anglican church which had as the theme “At the Name of Jesus”
He urged the people of Abia to shun mundane interests and vote according to their conscience and who they consider credible enough to occupy various leadership positions in the state.
While also praying for Nigeria, the cleric predicted a hitch-free election in 2023 which will produce a leader all Nigerians will be proud of.
He also prayed for God’s abiding presence upon his host and household.
