Amidst cheers and confidence by his loyalists and supporters, Deputy Speaker House of Assembly and member representing Ohafia South Constituency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu has indicated interest to join in the race to represent Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency at the House of Representatives
ABN TV reports that this comes as he says with his experience as a two-time member of the State House of Assembly, he would effectively represent the people at the National Assembly if voted.
The lawmaker made his intention known at the expanded meeting of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ohafia which took place at the Ohafia LGA Headquarters.
He remarked that his desire to represent the people at the National Assembly is borne out of the love he has for them and the growing calls from concerned constituents on him to join in the contest.
Rt. Hon. Uchendu said the numerous projects he has undertaken since he became a member of the State House of Assembly is a testimony to how much he would perform as the representative of the Arochukwu/Ohafia constituents.

While assuring that he would deliver more projects in the remaining part of his tenure, the lawmaker urged members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ohafia, Abia State, and Nigeria at large to brace up for the challenge ahead to ensure a landslide victory for the party in the forthcoming 2023 General Election.
He also used the medium to thank members of the party (PDP) for their unalloyed support for him, the Governor and his Deputy, the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, and other PDP Political Officeholders in Ohafia and Abia State.
