A Political Scientist and philanthropist, Hon. Mkpa Oju Uka has said the upcoming general election in 2023 is a defining moment for Nigerians to deliberately choose their leaders, especially those who will bring answers to nagging questions on development.

He said the insecurity and economic downturn the country has experienced in the past couple of years is worrisome and disturbing, urging that there should be a change to it.

Speaking on ABN TV’s Political Perspective, Hon. Uka said the opportunity of the election will be a moment for Nigerians across board to vote based on credibility, track record, performance, and achievements between individuals and political parties.

He noted that the people are entitled to dividends of democracy, urging them not to give their votes to those who have failed to meet their expectations in leadership.
