Operatives of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA on Sunday arrested one Bright Mbamara, 20-year-old with 16 bags and loose quantity of dried weeds substance suspected to be Cannabis Sativa, known as Indian Hemp weighing 219.650kg.
He was found in his family compound of Umueli Amaraku, Ikeduru LGA, Imo State at about 2pm.
Principal Staff Officer, Media and Advocacy of Imo state Command of NDLEA, Owerri, Lamuwa Shehu in a release on Sunday said the suspect and exhibit are in custody while investigations are ongoing.
In his remark, the State Commander NDLEA Imo State Command, Ruben Apeh, charged parents to look after their wards to avoid some other persons to lure them to the unwanted path.
He lamented that a 20 year old chap, should ordinarily be in School and not in the ghettos selling hard Drugs.
