The Senate Committee on the Review of the 1999 Constitution has fixed date for Southeast zonal public hearing slated to take place at Protea Hotel, Owerri, Imo State.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27, May, 2021.
A release signed by the Chairman and Senate Chief Whip, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu made available to ABN TV, urges people of Imo and Abia States to be present.
The statement partly reads, “Representatives of both State Government, State Legislature, Local Government Councils, Traditional Rulers, Town Unions, Women Leaders, People with Disability, Youth Leaders are expected at the Hearing.
“Memoranda in 10 hard copies and 1 soft copy is to be submitted to the Secretariat at the Venue.”
