Dike Chidozie Okwara
A Chieftain of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Hon Dike Chidozie Okwara has declared his intention to contest for the ohafia south state constituency seat in Abia state House of Assembly in 2023.
He said this decision is borne out of his strong desire to serve and contribute towards a more productive and efficient representation of Ohafia south in the state Assembly.
Okwara who made this declaration on Tuesday at the state secretariat of the party in Umuahia the state capital noted that he has embarked on a robust consultation before the declaration.
Speaking with party leaders he said, “I have taken a giant step towards achieving this good political mission for our people of Ohafia south constituency by successfully obtaining the nomination and expression of interest form for the Abia state House of Assembly membership come 2023.
“We will be counting on your support and prayers as we embark on this journey for the total overhaul of the old system into a working new system.”
He added that his ambition is not a desperate one, noting that he will support anyone that wins if he does not grab the ticket.
The state party chairman Rev. Augustine Ehiemere, while speaking thanked and welcomed Hon. Okwara and the great people of Ohafia south constituency.
Rev. Augustine Ehiemere He urged Okwara not to go in to the house and forget all that was behind his success adding that everything is left for God he and his executives do not have the right to decide or stop Dike if God says it will be him.
