Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah has expressed grief over the death of the traditional Head of Ngwaland and Eze Ukwu Ngwa-Ukwu, His Eminence, Eze Bernard Enweremadu, describing as a unifier and a peacebuilder.
Ogah in a condolence message obtained by ABN TV on Monday said the late Royal Father was an embodiment of dignity and honour who laboured tirelessly to ensure that Ngwa nation and indeed Abia state, in general, becomes a united force with a common developmental goal in the interest of the people.
According to Ogah, the foremost traditional ruler witnessed a peaceful and impactful reign which he said speaks volumes of the abundant grace God bestowed on him while on throne.

“I am deeply saddened and pained by the passing on of our dear Royal Father, Eze Bernard Enweremadu as this critical point in our history.
“I am however comforted by the fact that he ran a worthy race and left his footprints in sands of time for which he would be remembered by generations yet unborn.
“An astute administrator and beacon of peace who did not only preach the unity of our people but openly supported same” the statement partly read.
While praying God to grant the family, the entire Ngwa community and Abia, in general, the fortitude to bear the loss, Ogah further prayed for the peaceful repose of the late Eze whom he said was a role model.
