As police high delegations continue to pay a condolence visit to the family of Late Friday Arunsi, who was last week murdered by a team of policemen said to have acted under the influence of alcohol, members of the family have requested that the police authority buries their late son in addition to their demand for justice so that the pain caused by his death could be mitigated.
The uncle of the late Friday Arunsi and spokesman of the family, Kingshert Uban Kalu Ukpai made this demand on Saturday when the newly deployed Abia State Commissioner of Police, Janet Agbede paid a condolence visit to the family.
Describing the new CP as a mother, he expressed gratitude over the visit despite taking over as the helmsman of the state police command just a day before.
He wished her success in her quest to rid the state of crime.
In her response, the Commissioner of Police said police authority will look into the demand of the family to see what they can do.
