The newly deployed Commissioner of Police in Abia State, CP Janet Agbede in less than 24 hours after taking over as the helmsman of the foremost law enforcement agency in the state started off on a positive footing.

ABN NTV reports that CP Agede visited the family of Late Friday Arunsi of Ebem Ohafia who was recently killed by a team of policemen to express her condolences.
She also visited the police station in the area which was torched by an angry mob following the killing to ascertain the level of damage caused.
