President Bola Tinubu has dismissed concerns about his health, saying he is fit and ready to resume official duties after a four-week working holiday in Europe.
Speaking to journalists on Tuesday after arriving at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, Tinubu said he enjoyed his time away.
“I enjoyed my trip,” the President said when asked about his vacation.
Responding to concerns raised by Nigerians about his health towards the end of the trip, Tinubu insisted there was nothing wrong.
“Ready to kick, ready to walk. There’s nothing wrong,” he said.
The President described the speculation as part of politics and reiterated his readiness to return to work.
“Well, rumours will always be emanating from politics, but the facts remain up here. Healthy, sound, and ready to go,” Tinubu said.
