A Nigerian family based in the United States, Mr. Chukwuemeka Nwankwo, an indigene of Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, and his wife, have welcomed a set of twins after 15 years of marriage.
Announcing the joyful news on social media, Mr. Nwankwo expressed profound gratitude to God, describing the birth of the twins as a manifestation of God’s faithfulness and perfect timing.
According to him, the 15-year journey to parenthood was marked by challenges, but he and his wife remained steadfast in faith and refused to allow societal pressure or emotional struggles to weaken their love and commitment to each other.
“This might sound smooth, but the journey was not easy. Yet, we never wore our emotions like cloth or allowed any form of pressure to puncture our love,” he wrote.
Mr. Nwankwo also encouraged couples and individuals still trusting God for the fruit of the womb to remain hopeful, emphasizing that God remains in control of the affairs of humanity and has greater plans than anyone can imagine.
Describing the birth of the twins as an extraordinary act of divine grace, he thanked family members, friends, and everyone who supported them throughout the years.
