Akwa Ibom State governor Umo Eno has appointed former minister and Chairman of Seplat Energy, Sen. Udoma Udo Udoma, as Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU).
The announcement was made on Monday through the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, coinciding with the scheduled inauguration of the new AKSU Governing Council.
Other appointees to the council include Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem, Mfoniso Essien (a surveyor), Lady Dr. Stella Udoh, Dr. Enefiok Ede, as well as representatives from the state’s Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Digital Economy.
